Riding For Dementia – Update September 2018
In August 2016, David Wren, a professional golfer & advocate for Spark of Life, started a 24,000km journey cycling from Ireland across the world to NSW, Australia. Well, it’s now September 2018 & David is back in the saddle, travelling through the Middle East to raise funds for Dementia Foundation for Spark of Life.
David writes, ‘I’m back on the bike & tracking down the West Coast of Morocco & left Casablanca 12 days ago. Last 4 days spent crossing the western end of the Atlas mountain range. Hills are always tough! The last 400kms will be the Sahara Desert highway with only three stops scheduled due to lack of civilization.’
