Hrefna Brynja Gísladóttir, Spark of Life Master Practitioner and Implementer of the Spark of Life Club Program

Hrefna Brynja graduated as a Spark of Life Master Practitioner in 2011. As a practicing Occupational Therapist, she has pioneered the use of the Spark of Life Club Program in an aged care facility in Akureyri, Northern Iceland and has also run the 3-day Certified Spark of Life Club Facilitator Course for Occupational Therapists working in aged care facilities around Iceland.

Her facilitation skills and role-modelling have inspired many people and enabled a number of homes to introduce this life-changing social program.

Hrefna Brynja is now retired from active practice and is looking for new people to carry the Spark of Life ‘torch’ in Iceland into the future.
